Vikings Bakehouse seeks to become an active part of a world that cares about ethical living, the environment, health, and related concerns.
Current partnerships
Our oceans are in danger and that humanity must act to ensure that future generations of humans – and non-humans – are able to enjoy the majesty of our common inheritance: the vast seas of the earth. It is for this reason that we are proud to announce that we have made a donation to become official members of Surfers Against Sewage’s 250 Club.
The relationship between Vikings Bakehouse and Suffolk Vegans is by no means a new one! The very first Suffolk Vegans meet-up was hosted at Vikings’ sister venue, Isaacs on the Quay, on 2 December 2017. The vegan ‘scene’ has grown exponentially since those early meet-ups at Isaacs, so much so that, beginning in 2022, Suffolk Vegans meet-ups are moving to another of our sister venues, The Gallery, for exclusive use during monthly social evenings.
Tickets for special Vikings Bakehouse events are sold via Humanitix, a not-for-profit ticketing platform. All booking fees are handed in their entirety for education projects for disadvantaged children.
